Laila by Geir Ness ROCKS!, April 20, 2007 By LivingDedGrrl (Somewhere Over the Rainbow) - See all my reviews I'm REALLY picky about perfumes. This one continues to hold my attention. I absolutely HATE that "old lady" smell and the flower scents that are out there are just gross after about an hour. I'm really into Laila. I saw it at Disney World in Norway. If you happen to be there, buy it in their little shop. The price isn't much different on the internet. On the net you have to pay shipping, which'll cost you more. Anyway, I went all the way back to Norway to smell it again and put more on. Back at the hotel, I set my shirt in front of the A/C so the scent would blow around the room. I got quite a few compliments from my test sprays as I walked around the park. I loved it, and so did everyone else. Finally! A perfume I would actually LIKE to wear!! =D

Just received my bottle of perfume, I was running low on the bottle of Laila I already have. First, the bottle looks very different than the one I have (which I bought at Nordstrom). The bottle spilled in shipping, so it was only about 2/3 full. Also, it smells like rubbing alcohol - this cannot be Laila perfume. It looks different, it smells different - and worst of all - I cannot return it because I now see that Amazon will not accept the return of "Hazardous materials". Interesting, as they had no problems shipping Hazardous materials.
If I was going to pass off fake perfume, this is exactly how I would "sell" it. Nice scam. Wish I'd thought of that...
I have been scammed out of $62.31. Please don't be scammed as I have been... Run the other way...
